Probiotics are beneficial microorganisms that help control the balance of the digestive system, aid in reducing loose stool due to environmental or dietary changes, and support the immune system and skin health.

Dr. Dulake custom-picked 12 living strains with powerful dosing of 5 billion CFUs to actually make a positive difference in your pet's digestive health. Our probiotics also include organic prebiotics that supports normal microbial balance and the growth of beneficial bacteria in your pet’s intestines.

Best of all, this flavorless powder easily mixes into your pet’s food. It’s easy and effective!

  • Gut health: Promotes healthy intestinal tract, digestion, and normal stools.
  • Immunity: 12 powerful strains of good bacteria promote a healthy microbiome and immune system.
  • Skin + Coat: Supports skin health and soothes skin-related issues associated with seasonal allergies.
  • Energy: Increases gut flora for an energy boost.

Not all strains are created equal. When it came time to formulate our probiotics, Dr. Dulake made sure each strain held a specific function and when combined, worked in conjunction to enhance your pet's digestive health.

S. boulardii calms the intestines and protects them from pathogens that can damage your pet's intestinal walls. B. Infantis breaks down complex carbohydrates that gut cells are unable to digest.

Strain diversity – More probiotic strains mean broader digestive and immune support. It’s actually more important than total CFU count. A higher CFU count is not always better.

Clean ingredients – Avoid fillers and additives. Look for products that are USDA Organic certified.

Prebiotics– These feed the good bacteria and make probiotics more effective.

Furry Testimonials

I’ve been having a hard time with my pug Penelope. She suffers from allergies and after using Fera’s probiotics I have noticed a big improvement! She’s not as itchy and she’s hacking a lot less. Also her poop looks so much healthier than before too. Definitely would recommend 10/10!!!

Feeding Guide

Feed orally by adding the recommended amount to your pet’s food with the included scoop. This flavorless powder easily mixes into their meal — they won’t even know it’s there.

The scoop is equivalent to ½ teaspoon.

Frequently Asked Questions

The scoop is 1.2 grams or 2.5cc, which is equivalent to ½ teaspoon.

Our USDA Organic Probiotic with Prebiotics has 60 servings (scoops) per container. We recommend 1 scoop a day if your pet is between 15-60 lbs.

All of FERA's products are manufactured in the USA. All strains in our probiotics are from the US. Our Organic Prebiotics are from: FOS (Belgium), Inulin (Mexico), and Acacia (Senegal). It is manufactured in an FDA-registered GMP-compliant facility, third-party tested, and NASC certified.

Probiotics can be defined as living microorganisms, that when ingested in certain numbers, confer health benefits beyond that of their inherent nutritional value. The microbes used in our probiotics are live non‐pathogenic organisms, such as various Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus species, Enterococcus faecium, and non‐bacterial organisms such as the non‐pathogenic yeast Saccharomyces boulardii. Our probiotic formula is custom formulated by our veterinarian who recommends using a broad spectrum probiotic to bring balance to the gut microbiome. Each strain in our probiotic powder is proven to be beneficial for both cats and dogs and handpicked by our veterinarian. We also include prebiotics, which are non-digestible carbohydrates that modulate the intestinal microbiota and promote the growth of beneficial microorganisms in the intestines, which many other probiotics do not include.

The probiotic container is normally about half filled. We provide a longer handle scoop and wide rim bottle for ease of scooping, which requires a larger bottle. Each probiotic bottle contains 60 servings (ex: a pet that weighs 15-60 lbs will have 60 days worth).

If your pet was having normal stools prior to use, we ask that you stop using the probiotics and wait one week before reintroducing it. We always recommend starting at HALF the recommended dose. So if your pet is supposed to receive 1 scoop daily, please start at 1/2 scoop for a few weeks. We do recommend only introducing one supplement/treat at a time so we are not confused about what could be causing any diarrhea. We also recommend giving our Probiotics for 4-6 weeks to allow the GOOD bacteria to inhabit the gut and see positive results.

Our USDA Organic Probiotics with Prebiotics powder is flavorless and can easily be mixed in with your pets food.

Our USDA Organic Probiotics with Prebiotics does not need to be refrigerated as long as they are stored in a cool (below 72 degrees), dry place. You are definitely welcome to refrigerate it if the storage conditions fluctuate as this will help maintain their potency.

Yes, it can be mixed with water. We recommend room temperature or cold water to maintain potency of the living beneficial bacteria. Please do not use warm or hot water.

During production, we add a surplus/overage of the amount of LIVING bacteria in our Probiotic powder to account for the natural decline in numbers secondary to transit, storage, and stomach acid. Keeping the probiotics in a cool, dry place (< 72 degrees) to maintain good stability is recommended and can be refrigerated to preserve potency if humidity and heat is an issue.

There are 3 main reasons for itchy skin:
1. flea allergy
2. food allergy
3. environmental allergy (atopy).

We have seen improvement with itching and overall skin health, especially if it is related to food allergies. But we always recommend consulting with your veterinarian to rule out all other causes of itchiness, especially if it does not improve with our probiotics.

Our containers are BPA free, FDA compliant, recyclable, and safe for food contact.

We recently made some small adjustments to our USDA Organic Probiotics + Prebiotics - specifically, the amount of FOS (fructooligosaccharides) was reduced by 5mg, while the amount of Inulin was increased by the same amount. The total fiber content remains exactly the same at 1.165g. We've also made one change to the strain composition, replacing Lactobacillus rhamnosus with Bacillus coagluans.

Seven Years of Watery Woes.....Now She’s Got Top-Notch Turds

We’ve got a 7-year-old poodle who, bless her, has basically had a dodgy tummy her entire life. Chicken was a known no-no, but honestly it didn’t seem to matter what she ate, she never laid good dog logs. A good week meant maybe one or two solid poos before things went south again. Watery poop, upset belly, bloated… rinse and repeat.

We tried all the special foods, elimination diets, and miracle cures with exactly zero long-term success.

So when we tried the Fera Pets probiotic, it was very much a roll of the dice because honestly nothing in 7x years had actually worked, but it was worth a shot.

But wow!!!! This stuff actually worked. Like, properly worked.

Her bloating has gone down so much she looks slimmer, her poos are consistently solid (a sentence I never thought I’d be celebrating), and she just seems so much more comfortable and happy. It’s honestly been life-changing for her, and for us. No more stress, no more mess, no more wondering what set her off this time.

After seven years of tummy dramas, we can’t believe something finally did the trick. Could not recommend Fera Pets highly enough. Absolute game changer.

    Keeps my cats healthy!

I have 4 cats so 1 jar lasts 1 month. I choose this probiotic because it didn't have anything added that I felt was concerning to my cats' health and has more than just 1 strain of bacteria plus prebiotics. I have 2 cats that I need to boost their immune systems and this definitely helps. One cat was having yeast infections on his paws and ulcers on his lip and as long as he gets this every day he doesn't have these reoccurring problems. All my cats have healthy poops too!

    So far so good

So far so good. I have 3 cats. One threw up a hairball. I know which one. It was when I saw the vet with the cats say it’s NOT normal for cat to throw up hairballs I ordered this product. We have had no throw ups of any kind since. I will continue to give it to them. I had used a popular brand name probiotic before, but really still got hairballs. Than you for this
