Kidney Support for Cats

I have been waiting to post a review until after our annual appointment.

Oct 2025 our Bailey (18 years old) was diagnosed with stage 2 CKD. She is a picky kitty. We worked on getting her diet changed to a lower phos food. Many, many different attempts. Finally, Hills Science 7+ Chicken Entree seemed to take.

Jan 2026 we added Fera Probiotics, April 2026 we added Fera Kidney Support. We spread her daily dose of both the Fera products over her 4 daily meals. She needs it very hidden or won't eat her food.

Yesterday, Oct 2026, at her annual check up, we were relieved to find out that her CKD did not progress and we were told a few of the markers even improved by 1 or 2 points.

Thank you, to the Universe and Fera!

We love this kidney support for our kitty, Mitty who is turning 13 this month.

About a year ago he was starting to slow down, walked around like he was in pain, a distinct drop in his lower back / upper tail area. Eating less, not as playful and slept all day.

After we started this kidney support, about a month or so in, he started looking better, and was a bit more playful, and ate his food and asked for his food!

Now he’s been on it for over a year and he’s got a new life! Very playful, meows at us for food and playtime, runs around, eats all his food! We couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend!

At 9 months old one of my kittens was diagnosed with FIP and she spent well over 100 days on medication. Both vets we went to didn't nor anywhere on the medications packaging or website informed us that kidney disease/issues is common with FIP cats and that we should have been giving her kidney supplements so we didn't give her anything to support her kidneys through the treatment I just found out is very harsh on the kidneys. As soon as we got the okay to stop her medication she started vomiting frequently and her urine wouldn't clump and had a strong ammonia smell. I purchased this to use while I was waiting to get a vet appointment set up for bloodwork to check kidney functions and it started helping within the first few days. I've noticed no more vomit piles throughout the day and the ammonia smell in her urine is already gone and it's only been four days since I started giving her this. I mix it with a Churu treat and she has no problem eating it.

My senior cat has early stage CKD and has been struggling with stomach upset & constipation since switching him over to Rx food. He hadn't been himself for a couple of months. I have tried other supplements but this is the one that I have seen much improvement with. I sprinkle it on his wet food every morning and he eats it without any problems. He seems to have more energy and has began to be more active. I have also purchased the Prebiotics with Probiotics and will be introducing that to his diet soon.
