Who are we?

Co-Founded by veterinarian, Dr. Michelle Dulake, Fera Pet Organics creates effective, clean and delicious supplements for dogs and cats by using holistic high-quality ingredients necessary to support each body system.

Our focus is using natural and organic ingredients with no fillers. We have the highest percent of actives on the market and are the perfect blend of eastern and western ingredients. Our supplements are veterinarian custom formulated and manufactured in the USA in FDA-registered GMP-compliant facilities and regulated by the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC). We are accredited members of the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) and have sustainability at the forefront of every business decision. Additionally, each batch is tested for purity and potency by third party labs and the results are posted to our website because transparency is important to us and our pet parents.

We value authenticity, collaboration, and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. We are a small, action-oriented team. We foster a casual, fun environment, but are also proactive and efficient. ABOUT FERA PETS: 

Fera Pets is a fast-growing women-founded pet wellness CPG startup dedicated to revolutionizing the pet care industry through holistic supplements. Committed to providing whole body-system solutions, each supplement is formulated by our veterinarian and co-founder to enhance the well-being and promote longevity of pets everywhere. Fera Pets was recently acquired by General Mills through their growth equity fund, Gold Medal Ventures and will embark on rapid growth. As we continue to disrupt the pet space, we are seeking a dynamic, strategic and data-driven eCommerce Manager to join our team. 
 
THE ROLE: 

The eCommerce Manager is responsible for leading channel strategy across Fera’s existing eCommerce partners and the future roadmap. This responsibility includes managing day-to-day operations across the eCommerce channels (Amazon, Chewy, Petco.com), managing our partner agencies, and having accountability for hitting the eCommerce revenue and profitability goals. In this role, you will report directly to the CEO and partner cross-functionally with the growth marketing team (DTC), logistics, customer service, etc. This is a wear multiple hats, operate in a fast-paced environment, stay nimble as change occurs, and high impact opportunity.  

This role is based out of Los Angeles, CA but we are open to remote candidates who are willing to travel as outlined below.  

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

The ideal candidate has deep experience managing an Amazon business and exhibits a learner’s mentality to become an expert in other eCommerce channels that are strategically important to Fera. You have strong P&L acumen, bias for action, collaboration superpowers, and experience managing agency partners. You like to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges, from daily operational tasks to strategic projects.  

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Maintain role as a subject matter expert on Amazon, Chewy, Petco.com strategy while staying up to date on eCommerce trends that fit into the growth roadmap 

  • Build eCommerce strategy & processes, manage and report against performance metrics 

  • Manage day-to-day operations and storefront for all existing and future eComm channels  

  • Manage the relationship with eCommerce agencies, assigning projects as needed, delivering feedback, and keeping them accountable to metrics and goals 

  • Support the Fera innovation roadmap by analyzing market segments for opportunities, generate data-centric recommendations, build eCommerce launch plans, report against launch success metrics 

  • Work cross functionally with logistics, the growth marketing team, customer service to meet business goals 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 2 years experience and proven track record of effectively managing brands on Amazon Seller Central and other online marketplaces  

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with experience in leveraging data and insights to inform strategy and optimize performance 

  • Based in LA or open to 1/month travel to LA 

  • US work authorization. Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status).

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to evaluate operation gaps/opportunities, ruthlessly prioritize, build scalable solutions, and pivot as needed to drive business growth and market share 

  • Resilient, self-motivated, collaborative, learner’s mindset 

  • Organized, detail-oriented, able to balance multiple priorities at once 

SALARY RANGE 

The salary range for this position is $100k - $125k annually with potential for bonus.  

At Fera Pets, we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
